Greetings,
Please, let me introduce myself. My name is Robin Harris, and I am the California State Board Certified Examiner of Electrology in Southern California and a Professional Electrologist at Charlotte-James Skin Clinic with over 18 years experience. I am a former Electrolysis instructor at the American Institute of Education in Southern California. Dedicated in training new students in art of permanent hair removal. with 13 years as a teacher, but now mentoring new practitioners in the field of hair removal.
I am aware that the choices in hair removal can be confusing. Whether it is from the face, the back or any other part of the body, most women and men want hair removal to be fast, painless and permanent. The usual choice is between laser treatments or electrolysis. It is essential to understand that laser is only for the reduction of hair where as electrolysis insures permanent removal.
Electrolysis has been in use for more than 100 years, and is the only permanent hair removal procedure recognized and approved by the FDA. It works efficiently on any type of hair and skin color because it targets individual hairs. (Alternately, laser only works well for those who have very dark hair on very fair skin. In addition, there are possible risks of injuries if the technician is not aware or experienced).
I use only the latest equipment, with microchip technology and increased megahertz for faster, more comfortable delivery. Thus, I remove with ease ingrown hairs, curved hair follicles (common to most of us, in the bikini-line and found in ethnic skin types), as well as ultra fine colorless hair. My modern equipment gives me a choice of several techniques (Thermolysis, Galvanic, and Blend) for even greater efficiency.
